The community of Hunters Hill Preschool acknowledge that the Wallumedegal people are the traditional custodians of this land. We commit to embedding an Indigenous perspective throughout our program.
We uphold the UN rights of the Child and believe that children are successful, competent, capable learners and have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
We are an inclusive, sustainable service with focuses on early intervention and cultural responsivenes. We aim for children and their families to first belong to our Preschool, then be supported, educated, and nurtured so that they can become their very best selves.
We value authentic, reciprocal relationships with families. We are committed to supporting and developing partnerships with them as we share the nurturing and education of their children. As a community-based organisation, our strong governance is centred around giving generations of local parents a voice in the early education of their children.
Our teaching team embed a play-based program embracing the Early Years Learning Framework as the foundation of our curriculum. We are committed to ongoing learning and critical reflection to ensure innovative, inclusive, and meaningful pedagogy.
We’re so grateful for the overwhelming interest in our community. Our places for 2025 and 2026 are currently full, so any new waitlist applications will be considered for our 2027 intake. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming new families in the future.
