Priority of Access

Hunters Hill Preschool gives priority of access to enrolment in accordance with government
funding guidelines (as amended from time to time) and the Hunters Hill Preschool
Enrolment Policy.

Priority of access is given to:

We are a not-for-profit, community-run preschool.

  • Existing students of the Preschool who wish to remain in the program for a second year of preschool.
  • Children who are at least 4 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year and not yet enrolled or registered at a school.
  • Children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year who are from a family holding a low income Health Care Card.
  • Children who are at least 3 years old on or before July 31st of the preschool year and have a diagnosed disability or additional need are eligible for the Department's 3.3 Priority of Access.
  • Children who are at risk of significant harm.
  • Children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year with English language needs.
